Green Bean Casserole w/Water Chestnuts

1-1/4 cups mayonnaise
1 onion, grated to pulp and juice
1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups green beans
1 cup water chestnuts

Mix the first 6 ingredients. Layer green beans and water chestnuts. Cover with sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven until brown and bubbly.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
