2 packages (16 ounces each) cut green beans, thawed
1 pound mushrooms, sliced
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 jar (16 ounces) Cheez Whiz Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread (or 1 bottle (12 ounces) Cheez Whiz Squeezable Pasteurized Process Cheese Sauce)
Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp. Drain bacon, reserving 1/4 cup drippings. Crumble bacon; reserve 2 tablespoons. Microwave beans as directed on package; drain well.
Add mushrooms and onion to reserved 1/4 cup dripping in skillet. Cook and stir on medium-high heat 10 minutes; drain. Add bacon, black pepper and hot green beans; mix lightly. Spoon into 2 quart serving dish.
Microwave Cheez Whiz as directed on label. Pour over green bean mixture. Sprinkle with reserved 2 tablespoons crumbled bacon.
