| Cheesy Broccoli and Cauliflower | |||||||
| 1 (1-1/2 pound) bag broccoli (thawed) 1 (1-1/2 pound) bag cauliflower (thawed) 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter or margarine 1 small onion, chopped 2 teaspoons sugar Garlic powder to taste Celery salt to taste 1 (10-3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup 1 small can mushrooms 1/4 to 1/2 pound Velveeta Cheese (depending on how cheesy you want it) Sautee onion in the butter. Add sugar, garlic powder and celery salt. Add the soup and mushrooms. Heat well. Add the Velveeta cheese and stir until the cheese is melted. Pour over the vegetables. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
