| Cheddar Green Beans | |||||||
| 2 (9 ounce) packages frozen cut green beans 2 tablespoon finely chopped onion 2 garlic cloves, minces 2 teaspoons butter or margarine Salt and pepper to taste 4 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese Cook green beans according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender. Drain beans; add to onion mixture and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with cheddar cheese just before serving. Put in microwave oven for a minute or two if you want to melt the cheese a bit. Makes 4 servings. |
