Pickle Stew

1 pound good stew meat
3 cups water
3 beef bouillon cubes
2 large onions, chopped
1 carrot, peeled and sliced
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 large dill pickles, cubed
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon butter

Melt butter in heavy pan or Dutch oven. Add meat and salt; brown mean on all sides. Add onions. Cook until onions are slightly browned. Add water, paprika and bouillon cubes and cook for 1/2 an hour, covered. Add carrots, potatoes and pickles. Cook until meat, carrots and potatoes are tender.
