Rice Almondine
1 medium onion chopped
2 teaspoons butter
1-1/4 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dill weed
1-1/2 cups brown minute rice
2 tablespoons slivered almonds
1 (12 ounces) package cut frozen green beans

Saute the onion in the butter. Cook the green beans according to package directions and drain well.

Meanwhile mix the chicken broth, lemon juice, garlic powder dill weed. Bring to a boil. Add the rice and let stand for five minutes or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice tender. Mix in the hot cooked green beans and the slivered almonds.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
