| 1/2 medium onion 1 clove garlic 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce (no salt added) 1/4 cup light molasses 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon hickory seasoning (liquid smoke) Combine ingredients in blender container. Cover and run on medium until smooth. Pour into saucepan. Simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes. Pour into jar and cover tightly. Cool and refrigerate. Use as desired. Makes 1-1/2 cups. |
