| Cheesy Turkey Cranberry Sandwich | ||||||||
| 1 (16-ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce 1 tablespoon horseradish 1 (1-pound) loaf French bread, cut in half lenghtwise 1/4 cup butter, melted 1-1/2 pounds thinly sliced deli turkey breast 12 (3/4-ounce) slices yellow and/or white American cheese, cut in half diagonally Combine cranberry sauce and horseradish in small bowl; mix well. Heat broiler. Place bread onto ungreased baking sheet, cut-side up. Spread each bread half with 2 tablespoons butter. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat until lightly browned (1 to 2 minutes). Spread each bread half with 3/4 cup cranberry mixture; layer each evenly with turkey and cheese triangles. Continue broiling until cheese is melted (1 to 2 minutes). To serve, cut each half into 6 pieces. Makes 12 servings. |
