Honey-Cherry Coleslaw

1 egg, well beaten
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons light cream
1 quart shredded cabbage
Dash salt
1 (8 ounce) jar red maraschino cherries, drained

Combine egg, orange juice, honey in top of a double boiler. Cook over hot water until thickened, stirring occasionally, then cool. Add cream, salt and cherries. Blend well. Chill. Toss with shredded cabbage and serve.
