Scalloped Sweet Potatoes
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 large apples, peeled and sliced
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons chopped pecans

In a greased 2 quart baking dish, layer half the sweet potato slices, apple slices and crumbs. Repeat layers. Pour corn syrup over top; sprinkle with salt. Dot with butter; sprinkle with nuts. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
