| Potato Onion Bake (Microwave) | |||||||
| 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced 1 medium onion, sliced 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon dried or fresh parsley flakes Dash pepper 2 tablespoons butter Paprika Combine potatoes, onions salt, parsley and pepper in a 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Dot with butter. Cover and cook in microwave for 15 to 17 minutes at high temperature or until potatoes are tender. Stir gently every five minutes or so. Sprinkle with paprika before serving. Makes 4 servings. Note: These potatoes can also be cooked in the oven at 350 to 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and lightly browned. (You may need more butter if you are cooking them in the oven.) |
