Elegant Pork Chops
4 pork loin chops (about 1 inch thick)
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 (10-3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1-1/2 cups milk
1-1/2  cups uncooked instant rice
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon grarlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper

In a skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops in oil; set aside. In an ungreased 9 x 11 x 2-inch bkaing dish, combine soup, milk, rice and seasonings; mix well. Top with pork chops. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Uncover and bake 5 minutes longer. Let stand for minutes before serving.

Makes 4 servings.
