Mile High Strawberry Pie

Crust:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup pecans, grated

Mix and spread into a 9x13" pan. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes. Cool and crumble. Place all but 1/4 cup crumbs in 9" pie pan or 9x13 pan

Filling:

1 (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries, partially frozen (you can use the sweeten ones)
1 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Beat in large bowl until stiff (takes about 6 minutes) Fold in 1 cup whipping cream (whipped). Put on crust. Sprinkle rest of crumbs on top. Freeze. Take out of freezer about a 1/2 hour before serving.
