| 6 ounces spaghetti, cooked & drained 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter 2 large eggs, well beaten 1 cup ricotta cheese 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella 1 cup Prego Spaghetti Ssauce 3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese, divided Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 10" pie plate & set aside. Toss hot spaghetti with olive oil or butter. Combine eggs and 1/2 cup shredded parmesan. Stir into spaghetti. Pour spaghetti mixture into prepared pie plate. Form into a crust. Spread ricotta over bottom of spaghetti crust. Spread Prego evenly over the spaghetti crust. Bake uncovered 25 minutes. Top with shredded mozzarella. Bake 5 minutes more, until cheese melts. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with reserved 1/4 cup shredded parmesan. Cool 10 minutes before cutting into wedges. Makes 6 servings. Note: Recipe doesn't call for meat and is delicious without it, but there is no reason you couldn't add seasoned, browned meat or small meatballs. You can also make ahead and freeze, then take out and bake - just add extra time because of it being frozen. |
