Date Pudding
1-1/2 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon butter or margarine
Whipped cream

In a bowl, combine dates, walnuts and sugar. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Add to date mixture; mix well. combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to the date mixture. Spread into a 1-1/2 to 2 quart baking dish; dot with butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream.
