| Chocolate Covered Cherries | |||||||
| 3 tablespoons soft margarine 3 tablespoons light corn syrup 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups powdered sugar 1-1/2 pounds candy making milk chocolate or almond bark 60 cherries, pitted Drain cherries. Combine margarine, syrup, salt, and sugar. Knead until smooth. Put 1 teaspoon mixture around each cherry. Chill for 1 hour. Melt chocolate in microwave (or double boiler). Dip cherries until well coated and stand on wax paper to dry. |
