Cream Cheese Cookies
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2/3 cups butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2-1/2 cups brown sugar
2-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 teaspoon baking soda
1-1/2 cups coconut
2 cups crushed corn flakes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine the cream cheese, butter, lemon juice and brown sugar. With an electric mixer; mix until creamed well.

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to cream cheese mixture and combine well. Fold in coconut.

Make into small balls (about one teaspoonful) and roll each one in the corn flake crumbs. Place 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned.

Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
