Chocolate Waffle Cookies
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
Confectioners' sugar

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in chocolate. Add flour; mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart onto a preheated waffle iron. Bake for 1 minute. Remove to a wire rack to cool. Dust with confectioners' sugar.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
