| Almond Drop Cookies | |||||||
| 1/2 pound butter 1 cup granulated sugar 1-1/2 cup flour 1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon almond or lemon extract 1 teaspoon salt Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, flour, extract and salt. Beat smooth. Drop on buttered tin by teaspoon. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes until edges are slightly brown. Wait several seconds before removing from pan as cookies will be soft. Cool on cake rack. |
