Pecan Pralines
1-1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup whole pecans

In a medium sized pan, cook sugars and milk until mixture forms a soft ball. Add the butter and stir until it melts. Remove from heat.

Beat until mixtures thickens. Add nuts and vanilla. Drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper and let harden.

Makes 24 candies
