| Chocolate Peppermint Crunchies | ||||||
| 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon light corn syrup 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped peppermint candy 1 cup chopped nuts Line a small cookie sheet with wax paper. In a saucepan combine evaporated milk, sugar, and light corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes; remove from the heat. Add semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring until melted. Cool for 10 minutes; stir in chopped peppermint candy and chopped nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Chill until firm, about 2 hours. Makes 24 candies. |
