| One-Bowl Chocolate Cake | |||||||
| 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup baking cocoa 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup buttermilk 2 eggs 1 cup hot water Frosting of your choice Colored sprinkles, optional In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil, buttermilk and eggs. Add water and stir until combined. Pour into a greased 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool compeletely. Frost and decorate with sprinkles if desired. Makes 12 to 16 servings. |
