Chocolate Amaretto Cake
2 cups chopped pecans
1 package German chocolate cake mix with pudding
1 cup amaretto
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs at room temperature
1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 box confectioner's sugar

Cover  bottom of ungreased 13-by-9-by-2 inch metal pan with chopped pecans. Combine cake mix, amaretto, oil and eggs, one at a time. Do not over beat. Pour this mixture over the nuts.

Melt margarine, cream cheese and sugar in saucepan over low heat. Stir until mixture is very creamy-NO LUMPS-Pour over cake batter.

Bake 32-40 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Check TOP of cake for doneness at approximately 30 minutes; the bottom of the cake will remain wet, sticky and delicious!!! Serve from cake pan.

NOTE: The original recipe calls for 1-1/3 cups amaretto.
