2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 #2 can crushed pineapple with juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together well. Pour into an ungreased 13x9-inch pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into middle of cake comes out clean.
Frosting
2 cups powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Mix well and spread over warm cake.
