| Onion-Cheese Supper Bread | |||||||
| 1/2 cup onion, chopped 1 tablespoon oil 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 1-1/2 cups biscuit baking mix 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated Saute chopped onion in oil in a small skillet until tender. Combine milk, egg, and biscuit baking mix in a medium mixer bowl; stir just until moistened. Add the onion, grated cheddar cheese, and chopped parsley; stir to blend. Spread the batter in a greased 8-inch pan and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings |
