French Dip Roast

4 to 5 pounds top sirloin or rump roast
1 large can beef consomme
1 can water
1 package Good Seasons Italian dressing
1 package Schillings Au Jus mix
3 small onions (cut in strips)

Place all of the ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker and cook on low for 10 to 15 hours. Remove the roast from broth and shred.

Serve with French rolls or other rolls or bread to make sandwiches. Use the broth for dipping.
