In many cookbooks you will find pages of general information that share with you many useful facts...that is why I am including this section of useful information. If you are an experienced cook, you may know most of the things that will be on these pages.....but if you are out on your own for the first time there will be a lot of information that may come in handy as you settle in your new surroundings.
This section includes information on nutrition and healthier eating. There is a list of cooking terms found in recipes and their meanings and many different herbs and spices with information on what foods to use them in. You will find many tips that will be useful in the kitchen and in other areas of daily living.
Just click in the section that interests you and (hopefully) you will find some information that could prove to be interesting and/or helpful, ranging from outfitting your first kitchen to how to treat a bee sting!
