He's up before sunrise
No time to rest
Headed for the lake
When the "fishins' the best".
He has a thermos of coffee,
A pole and some bait,
No time to dawdle,
The "fish won't wait".
He will sit for hours
In the same old spot,
It doesn't make a difference,
If they're biting or not.
Because he's a fisherman,
He'll just "try again on another day",
He's always on a quest to catch
The one that got away.
