I became obsessed with animated gifs and started sending jokes and stories dressed up with lots of pictures via email. One day while visiting a dear friend who neglected his computer...I updated his virus protection for him and then realized that he had not been on the computer for a week or so to get his email.

Between my jokes with all the graphics and the pictures his family had sent him and his wife, it took over an hour for all the email to load. It was then that I decided to build a website and put those jokes and stories there instead of overloading my friends and relatives email.

I have no special talents and a very limited knowledge of computers.....so to build a website I needed to find the easiest way possible to do it. And I found it! I discovered the wonderful Geocities PageBuilder ...It is fun and easy...well not exactly easy all the time..... but always fun!

Even though we are retired, Bucky and I both have part-time jobs. He has turned a hobby of building things into a job and builds beautiful entertainment centers for one of the local builders. I got a fun job at one of the many golf courses in our community and thus turned a job into a hobby! We even attempt to play some golf when we can find the time. Considering the many hours it takes to maintain a website, you might say I have a job and a half!

We have a fairly large family. (At least by my standards I think it is large, I have one brother and one sister.) Bucky and I have nine kids between us and so far they have blessed us with eighteen grandchildren and two great grandsons! They are all beautiful...wonderful...talented...and sometimes troublesome! (Our children and grandchildren...not my brother and sister) They are spread out from Georgia to California so needless to say we don't see them as often as we would like.
